A 4.3 magnitude earthquake rattled the Searles Valley near Ridgecrest Sunday night.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded at 9:15 p.m.
The epicenter was about 10 miles east of Ridgecrest.
Some people felt weak to light shaking near Barstow, Palmdale, Los Angeles as well as Las Vegas, according to officials.
There are no initial reports of injuries or damage.
