A 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook the Parkfield area early Friday morning.
The quake struck at 2:05 a.m. and was centered about seven miles southeast of the small community.
Some people in northern San Luis Obispo County reported feeling the quake.
Parkfield is known as the "Earthquake Captial of the World" for its location along the San Andreas fault.
