SAN DIEGO (AP) - A woman accused of making threats while holding a gun and her baby during an Easter Sunday service has been ordered to stand trial.

A San Diego judge ordered Anna Conkey to face charges, including child endangerment and making criminal threats, on Friday.

During a preliminary hearing prosecutors showed video of Conkey holding her 1-year-old son and waving a pistol in front of churchgoers on April 21 as she rambled about martyrdom. The pastor of the Tsidkenu Church reacted by urging everyone to get out.

Witnesses were able to disarm her and pull the child away from her before police arrived.

The defense called Conkey "a disturbed woman in the middle of a dangerous situation" and argued she was merely using the unloaded gun to get the congregation's attention.
