The City of San Luis Obispo Transit (SLO Transit) will hold a community meeting and is asking for public feedback and comments.

The purpose of the meeting is two-fold. SLO Transit will discuss Title VI Programs for federal fiscal year budget (FFY) 2020-22 and proposed disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) goals for FFY budget 2021-23.

SLO Transit's objective is to give minority and women-owned businesses equal opportunity and access to county contracts, as well as meet the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements.
Title VI--The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

The SLO Transit meeting will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., at the City/County Library Community Room located at 995 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
