Santa Barbara County reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the county's total to 1,714 confirmed cases as of June 3.
Of that total, 979 cases are at the Lompoc prison and 735 cases are in the community.
Of the community cases, 29 people are hospitalized, including nine patients who are in the ICU. Sixty-eight people are recovering at home, and 692 people have recovered.
Santa Barbara County has reported 14 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
More than 20,000 coronavirus tests have now been conducted in Santa Barbara County.
Three free coronavirus testing sites remain open to the community -- at the Santa Maria Fairpark, the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, and the Anderson Recreation Center in Lompoc.
