San Luis Obispo County reported 19 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the county's total to 508 confirmed cases as of June 26.
Twelve people are hospitalized, including five patients who are in the ICU.
Another 114 people are recovering at home and 381 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had one death attributed to COVID-19.
The health department reports that a total of 19,593 coronavirus tests have been conducted so far at both the public health lab and at private labs.
Free coronavirus tests are currently available in Grover Beach and San Luis Obispo.
A pop-up testing clinic will be located in Atascadero from Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9.

Health officials say 244 of the county's total cases are the result of the patient having direct contact with a person who tested positive for the virus; 174 cases are attributed to community spread; and, 63 cases are the result of travel outside the county. Twenty-seven cases are still under investigation.

An additional 24 cases are in communities with fewer than five cases, and the Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.
