22 new cases of COVID-19 reported in SLO County

San Luis Obispo County reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the county's total to 2,300 confirmed cases as of August 12.

Twenty-one people are hospitalized, including five patients who are in the ICU.

Another 327 people are recovering at home and 1,935 people have recovered.

San Luis Obispo County has had 17 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

COVID-19 tests are currently available to the public in Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Atascadero.

The testing clinic in Atascadero will be open through August 20.

The location of three cases is listed as "under investigation," and another eleven are listed as "other," which includes communities with fewer than five cases. The Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.
