99 cases of COVID-19 reported in Santa Barbara County

Santa Barbara County is reporting 99 positive cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, March 31.

Health officials say 22 of those patients have recovered.

Of the remaining patients, 57 are recovering from home and 13 are in the hospital, including 11 who are in the ICU. The status of the remaining seven patients is pending.

Santa Maria has the most cases with 25. Twenty-two patients are in Santa Barbara, eleven are in Orcutt, another eleven are in other areas of northern Santa Barbara County, ten each are in Lompoc and the unincorporated Goleta Valley/Gaviota area, six are in the Montecito/Summerland/Carpinteria area, two are in Goleta, and Isla Vista and the Santa Ynez Valley each have one patient.
