Community Health Centers of the Central Coast (CHC) is asking the public for donations of cash, respirators, and disinfectant wipes.
CHC has clinics in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. Operators say they're seeing hundreds of new patients concerned about their possible exposure to the novel coronavirus and seeking testing.
To cover increased operating costs and purchase equipment to protect healthcare workers and patients, CHC is asking for monetary donations as well as donations of N-95 respirator masks and disinfectant wipes and solutions.
Donations are tax deductible.
