A COVID-19 information line is now being staffed in Lompoc.
People can call (805) 875-8071 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to ask questions related to services or resources available in the city during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City has also launched an informational webpage.
The City of Lompoc is asking that residents abide by the governor's order to stay at home until further notice unless heading out for essential needs.
Under the order, all non-essential businesses must remain closed. Essential services, including gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, farmers' markets, food banks, convenience stores, takeout and delivery from restaurants, banks and laundry services, can remain open.
While it can be a misdemeanor to not be in compliance with the order, Lompoc police say they expect community members will willingly comply.
