FEMA on Thursday announced a $7.7 million grant to boost COVID-19 vaccine distribution efforts in San Luis Obispo County.

The money will go towards the County's vaccine administration sites at Arroyo Grande High School, Cuesta College and the Paso Robles Event Center. It will reimburse county expenses for personal protective equipment, facility costs, and supplies.

This grant is a part of FEMA's Public Assistance program. The initial $7.7 million is just part of the $15.4 million expedited project.
