San Luis Obispo County reported four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the county's total to 173 cases as of April 28.
Five people are currently hospitalized and another 32 patients are recovering at home. Health officials say 135 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had one death from the coronavirus.
Paso Robles has 57 cases, Atascadero has 29, Arroyo Grande has 19, San Luis Obispo and Nipomo each have 14 cases, the communities of Templeton, San Miguel and Pismo Beach have seven cases each, and Morro Bay has six. Another 13 patients live in communities with less than five cases and the health department is not disclosing those locations.
According to the health department, at total of 2,716 coronavirus tests have been conducted at the county's lab and at private labs.
