San Luis Obispo County officials announced that there will be no in-person attendance at their Board of Supervisors meetings until further notice. This action was taken in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to adhere to the California Department of Public Health’s policies.
However, for those wanting to participate in meetings, there are still other options available. Online observation will be accessible, along with the ability to email, mail or call in with comments.
The County will provide live streams of the meeting here: https://www.slocounty.ca.gov/Departments/Board-of-Supervisors/Board-Meetings,-Agendas-and-Minutes.aspx
Anyone that would like to provide written comment can submit their comment via email or U.S. Mail to be received by 5 p.m. on the Monday prior to the Board meeting. Comments submitted via email must go to the Clerk of the Board at: ad_board_clerk@co.slo.ca.us.
You can submit verbal comments by calling (805) 788-6638; state and spell your name, mention the agenda item number you are calling about and leave your comment. Verbal comments must be received by the Clerk of the Board no later than 9 a.m. on the morning of the noticed meeting and will be limited to 3 minutes per item. Not all messages left are guaranteed to be played back during the meeting itself.
