Some students, staff or families in the Lompoc Unified School District may be asked to quarantine due to possible COVID-19 exposure.

District officials announced Wednesday evening that a staff member at Cabrillo High School lives with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

The district is asking anyone, including students, student athletes, parents and school staff, who believe they may have come into contact with the staff member to contact Cabrillo’s front office so contact tracing can be done.

Those who may be impacted will be asked to quarantine for 14 days, the district announced.

The district did not release additional information.
