The City of Paso Robles will waive penalties and interest for late water and sewer payments during the COVID-19 emergency.
The city council also voted Tuesday night to extend the annual business license tax renewal deadline from June 30 to August 31, waiving any penalties and interest during this same time period.
Penalties and interested for late Transient Occupancy Tax revenues were waived at a previous council meeting in April.
The city said the new measures are an effort to help ease the financial hardships brought on by the pandemic.
