The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office reports two more custody deputies have tested positive for covid-19, and three positive inmates were booked into custody.
Officials say the first custody deputy last worked on Dec. 8 and developed symptoms during their days off.
They got tested on Dec. 14 and came up positive Thursday.
The second custody deputy last worked on Dec. 16 and was determined covid-19 positive that night.
Three unrelated covid-19 positive inmates were recently booked at the main jail. They are being held separately from the general population.
