SLO Co. reports 101 new COVID-19 cases over three-day period

Coronavirus-confirmed healthcare workers can return to work without being testing negative

San Luis Obispo County reported 101 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the county's total to 1,006 confirmed cases as of July 13.

That number covers a three-day period from Saturday, July 11, through Monday, July 13. Seventy cases were recorded on Saturday, 16 cases were recorded on Sunday, and 15 cases were recorded on Monday.

Twelve people are hospitalized, including six patients who are in the ICU.

Another 299 people are recovering at home and 688 people have recovered.

Recovery information on two patients is listed as "unknown."

San Luis Obispo County has had five deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Free COVID-19 tests are currently available to the public in Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Nipomo.

The pop-up testing clinic in Nipomo will be open through Thursday, July 16.
