San Luis Obispo County added 126 new cases of COVID-19 over two days, bringing the county's total to 4,972 confirmed cases as of November 12.
Fifty-four cases were added on Wednesday and 72 cases were added on Thursday. Numbers were not released on Wednesday because of the Veterans Day holiday.
According to the Public Health Department, five people are hospitalized, including two patients who are in the ICU. Another 575 are recovering at home and health officials say 4,357 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had 33 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The location of 21 additional cases is under investigation, and another four are listed as "other," which includes communities with fewer than five cases. The Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.
Community COVID-19 testing sites are currently open to the public in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Morro Bay.
