San Luis Obispo County is reporting 34 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the county's total to 2,769 confirmed cases as of August 25.
Twelve people are hospitalized, including five patients who are in the ICU.
Another 429 people are recovering at home and 2,306 people have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had 21 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The location of five cases is listed as "under investigation," and another eleven are listed as "other," which includes communities with fewer than five cases. The Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.
COVID-19 tests are currently available to the public in Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Nipomo.
The pop-up testing clinic in Nipomo will be open Monday through Thursday until September 3.
