SLO County reports 33 new cases of COVID-19

San Luis Obispo County added 33 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the county's total to 4,298 confirmed cases as of October 30.

Seven people are hospitalized including three people who are in the ICU. Another 182 people are recovering at home and health officials say 4,074 have recovered.

San Luis Obispo County has had 32 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

  • California Men's Colony (inmates) - 294
  • Arroyo Grande - 238
  • Grover Beach - 172
  • San Miguel - 156
  • Templeton - 145
  • Oceano - 143
  • Pismo Beach - 69
  • Morro Bay - 66
  • Los Osos - 65
  • Shandon - 57
  • Cal Poly (on-campus) - 54
  • Cambria - 36
  • Santa Margarita - 34
  • Creston - 26
  • Cayucos - 19
  • Avila Beach - 9
  • San Simeon - 6

The location of one additional case is under investigation, and another six are listed as "other," which includes communities with fewer than five cases. The Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.

Community COVID-19 testing sites are currently open to the public in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Morro Bay.
