A third Santa Barbara County resident has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department (PHD) on Wednesday said the patient is a North County resident in their 60s, who is a family member of the first person diagnosed in the county.
It was not immediately known if the person has underlying health conditions.
Health officials say all three people, who have no history of travel within or outside the United States, are recovering in isolation at home until cleared by the public health officer.
The health department says it expects to see more positive cases in the coming days.
