A wildfire broke out Tuesday morning in the Big Sur area of the Los Padres National Forest.
It is reportedly burning in the Kirk Creek Campground area, which is between Gorda and Lucia.
Nacimiento-Fergusson Road was closed as a result of the fire.

Forest Service officials said few details were immediately available because of the remoteness of the fire.
