SpaceX plans Monday evening launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base

SpaceX is ready to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Liftoff is scheduled to take place at approximately 6:28 p.m. on Monday.

WATCH:

The mission will deliver 24 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.

SpaceX officials say this is the 15th flight for the first-stage booster supporting the mission. Following stage separation, the first-stage booster is expected to land on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean.
