One person was injured in a crash on Highway 101 in Santa Maria Monday morning.
It happened shortly before 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes just past the Stowell Road offramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved.
One vehicle appeared to have hit a sign on the side of the road and another vehicle could be seen into bushes off the roadway.
An ambulance responded to the scene but only one person was hospitalized with what fire officials say were moderate injuries.
Traffic was moving through the area as of 7:20 a.m.
No other information was immediately available.
