One person was killed in a rollover crash on Highway 101 north of Buellton on Monday.
It happened along the northbound side of the highway at Jonata Park Road at about 10:25 a.m.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, it took firefighters about 10 minutes to extricate the male driver from the wrecked pickup truck. First responders reportedly performed CPR, but the driver was declared deceased.
One lane of Highway 101 was temporarily closed as a result of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
