Two people were arrested following a high-speed pursuit that ended in northern San Luis Obispo County.
As of Friday evening, officers were releasing few details, saying the investigation was in the early stages.
The California Highway Patrol says the pursuit began in Monterey County and ended at the Highway 46 and Highway 101 interchange Friday afternoon.
Officers say Tyler Phillips, 29, and Paul Scrimshire, 37, are facing multiple charges, including reckless evading of a peace officer.
CHP says a firearm was found inside the vehicle along with suspected illegal drugs.
