Two people are in custody following a second pursuit in San Luis Obispo County Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol says officers were keeping an eye on a stolen car out of San Luis Obispo before the pursuit began along Southbound Highway 101 in Shell Beach.
The pursuit continued southbound until CHP says officers pulled back due to traffic and other conditions.
The suspect vehicle then rear-ended another vehicle around 3:45 p.m. on the southbound Broadway offramp near Preisker in Santa Maria, according to CHP.
No one was hurt.
The man and woman involved in the pursuit were taken into custody.
A pursuit earlier in the day that ended in a crash in Shell Beach remains under investigation and as of 4:30 p.m., two people were detained.
