Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people at a house party in Lompoc over the weekend.
Lompoc police say they responded to the 900 block of West Alden Ave. at about 1 a.m. Saturday where the house party was taking place.
Some “unwanted guests” reportedly arrived, leading to a physical fight and then the shooting.
Police say a 19-year-old’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening and a 23-year-old man was in critical condition as of Sunday.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police say no arrests have been made and add the shooting does not appear to be gang-related.
