The Paso Robles Police Department is investigating a report of a man exposing himself to a young girl on her way home from school on Tuesday.

The girl was reportedly leaving Daniel Lewis Middle School at about 4 p.m.

Police say the girl told officers that after the man exposed himself to her, he drove away in a small two-door blue sedan.

She said the man was white, appeared to be in his 30s, had slicked-back brown hair and a stubbly beard.  He was last seen driving east on Creston Road.

The girl reportedly told police the incident happened directly in front of the school on Creston Road. She said the man stopped his car when he saw her and asked her for directions.

Police say the girl told them the man exposed himself to her after she began to answer his questions and he then immediately left the area.

The police department says it is working with the School Resource Officer and the school district and will have more officers present before and after school.
