Several pumpkin patches are opening on the Central Coast now that fall is in season.
The Solvang Farmer Pumpkin Patch is opened to visitors in Solvang.
The family has been running the pumpkin patch for 30 years.
“I got bored one summer and decided just to plant one field for wholesale and once it came up we decided to put up a little lean-to out here and sell a few pumpkins make a little extra money and all of a sudden it just took off,” said Steven Jacobson from Solvang Farmer Pumpkin Patch.
Anyone who visits the pumpkin patch can also get lost in a 10-acre corn maze.
The Solvang Farmer Pumpkin Patch is located next to Sunny Field Park. It’s opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day until Halloween.
