A portion of East Cherry Avenue in Arroyo Grande is closed for the next 12 days as work to complete utility improvements on the East Cherry Avenue Project gets underway.
The closure through Oct. 12 is for the area between Traffic Way and PC Railway.
Work is scheduled to take place during the daytime hours. City officials say the road will be open in the evenings.
