The Pismo Beach Pier will officially reopen on Saturday, Oct. 20, city officials announced Thursday.
The crane that can currently be seen at the end of the pier is expected to be removed on Monday.
The grand opening of the pier will reportedly coincide with the 72nd Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival which is scheduled for Oct. 19-21.
Rehabilitation work on the damaged pier has been underway for more than a year.
City officials have said the construction came in under budget and ahead of schedule.
