Nightmare on Main Street haunted house returns to Templeton

The Nightmare on Main Street Templeton Haunted House is coming back scare people on the Central Coast.

Organizers said the haunted house promises to get hearts pounding.

“Our haunt’s pretty unique in that it is a house,” Main haunter Abby Allen said.  “A lot of the rooms anyway are a house, and very few haunts are like that, they’re all just constructed, but ours is a house, which makes it a lot creepier, and if you look around you can see, things falling off the tables when they shouldn’t be!”

The Nightmare on Main Street Is a nonprofit created to give back to the community. The historic home located at 99 Main Street is an old abandoned house that has been boarded up for more than 100 years.

The haunted house is opened from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20.

It is open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 26,27, 30 and 31.

Tickets cost $10 per person. VIP front of line tickets cost $17 a person.
