Police in Santa Maria are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night in the southwestern part of the city.
Santa Maria police have not disclosed the exact location it occurred, but say no one was injured.
When officers responded to the area at about 9:45 p.m., they say they found a vehicle believed to be involved.
The driver reportedly took off but police say they located the vehicle later in the evening and spoke to several people, however, no arrests have been made.
The case remained under investigation as of Monday morning.
