Santa Maria police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing girl who is considered to be at-risk.
Mia Martinez reportedly left school at about 11 a.m. on Thursday.
The 12-year-old was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and dark jeans. She is described as 5’3″ tall and 135 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair with red and blonde highlights.
The charter school Martinez attends is located in the 5000 block of S. Bradley Road.
