The Cuesta College Police Department is warning students about a scam.
Police say a student reported receiving a call from someone who identified themselves as being associated with the San Luis Obispo college. The caller reportedly told the student they needed to pay money to hold a class open for them to register.
Police say this is a scam.
Anyone who receives similar calls is urged to report them to the Cuesta College Police Department by calling (805) 546-3205.
