A small fire broke out Wednesday morning in the hills above Santa Barbara.
According to the United States Forest Service, the fire was holding at about a quarter acre after breaking out along the 3000 block of Gibraltar Road at around 9:30 a.m.
One engine remained on scene as of 11:30 a.m., but aircraft and other equipment were canceled.
