Community members gathered at Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo to bring awareness to victims of domestic violence.
The event was organized by Stand Strong: Support and Resources to end Domestic Violence. It was in part of several events that took place in San Luis Obispo County in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Mission Plaza was full of light as guest speakers took the stage Thursday night in support of the cause.
The events are designed to recognize survivors of domestic violence and honor those who have been killed at the hands of their partners.
