Another community information meeting this week in Southern Santa Barbara County aims to help make sure residents are prepared in emergency situations.
The second Storm Readiness Community Meeting is taking place Monday, Oct. 29, in Carpinteria at 5:30 p.m.
Information given at the event is “intended to help individuals make important safety decisions and prepare for emergencies, power outages and evacuation.”
The meeting will be shown live onSanta Barbara County’s Facebook page and also on its YouTube channel.
The meeting is taking place at the Veterans Memorial Building, 94 Walnut Ave.
The first meeting took place last Thursday in Montecito.
