A 21-year-old Santa Barbara man was arrested Tuesday in connection with multiple robberies and attempted robberies at convenience stores this year across the region, according to police.
During the alleged crimes, police say Eric Giovanni Arevalo would cover his hands and face while demanding cash and making the victims think he had a weapon.
Santa Barbara police say they are working with other agencies to determine if Arevalo may also be responsible for crimes in their areas.
