The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating two separate armed robberies that happened Thursday night.
Officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at approximately 8:40 p.m. on the 500 block of North Broadway Street.
The suspect stole property from the victim and struck the victim before they fled, police say.
About five minutes later, police say two victims walking in the area of 200 North Western Avenue were also robbed. These victims reportedly fled on foot after their property was stolen.
The suspects are still outstanding and officers are still trying to determine if the incidents are related.
