Nearly 2,000 PG&E customers were in the dark Monday evening as the result of a large power outage.
The outage began shortly after 5 p.m.
PG&E said a crew was assessing the cause and expected power to be restored by 8 p.m.
The outage included the area east of Highway 101 from Highway 166 to just north of the Los Berros Road interchange. The outage also extended a couple of blocks to the west of Highway 101.
