Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT) is inviting the public to talk about unmet transit needs.

Two workshops will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at noon and 5:30 p.m., in Shepard Hall at the Santa Maria Public Library.

SMAT runs fixed-route bus service in the City of Santa Maria, as well as Dial-A-Ride service.

These public meetings are held every year to identify future needs.

The library is located at 421 South McClelland Street. Those who can’t attend can mail their comments to the City of Santa Maria, 110 South Pine Street, Room 221, Santa Maria, CA 93458, or call (805) 925-0951, ext. 2170.

Public comment will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 16.
