The Paso Robles Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened at around 2 p.m. in Paso Robles on Thursday.
According to a press release from the Paso Robles Police Department, a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling down the 2800 block of Spring Street when a citizen reported a fight that just happened in the area. The deputy told Paso Robles Police and officers responded to the scene.
Two males were involved in the fight, and one of the subjects stabbed the other.
The releases states that the suspect, a 56-year-old man, confronted the 25-year-old victim and stabbed him during the altercation. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect also suffered from minor injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
There are no outstanding suspects in the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
