One Cool Earth, a non-profit organization, received a $5,000 donation from Susan Rodriguez State Farm Insurance to support the Pacheco Elementary School garden in San Luis Obispo.
The check was presented to One Cool Earth on Wednesday during a special presentation.
Susan Rodriguez says that the donation will help build the garden up and provide important educational opportunities for the community. She also says the garden will help the students grow in their educational and environmental literacy.
One Cool Earth was founded in 2001 to provide garden education and resources to support sustainable, environmental practices.
