Morro Bay police arrested a 24-year-old woman Friday who they say tried to get into other people’s vehicles after she was involved in a car crash.

It happened just before 11:30 a.m. on South Bay Blvd. at State Park Rd.

Police say officers stopped Searra Justine Crow as she was walking away from the scene of the crash but she became combative with them and had to be restrained.

She was arrested on suspicion of hit and run, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving on a suspended license.

Police say additional charges of carjacking and battery were added after a victim told officers that Crow had punched her twice in the face while trying to take the victim’s vehicle.
