Julian Crocker, former San Luis Obispo County Superintendent of Schools, has been named interim superintendent for the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.
Crocker will take over for Chris Williams who unexpectedly announced his resignation at a closed-session school board meeting last week.
Williams’ last day will be Feb. 6, 2019.
Crocker is no stranger to Paso Robles schools. He served as the school district’s superintendent for nine years before being elected to the county superintendent position.
Crocker spent 16 years as county superintendent before retiring in January 2015.
