Santa delivers gifts to animals at Charles Paddock Zoo

The community is invited to join Santa and his elves in passing out gifts to the animals at Charles Paddock Zoo.

Santa will be at the Zoo in Atascadero Saturday, Dec. 15 to help welcome visitors and deliver gifts to the animals.

All of the animals made the nice list this year, and there is a specific time each animal will get to tear into their gift:

  • 10:15 a.m. – Meerkats
  • 10:35 a.m. – Giant Anteater
  • 10:55 a.m. – Aldabra Tortoises
  • 11:35 a.m. – Fossa
  • 11:55 a.m. – Spider Monkey
  • 12:15 p.m. – Lemurs
  • 12:35 p.m. – Fisher
  • 12:55 p.m. – Tiger
  • 1:15 p.m. – Marmosets
  • 1:35 p.m. – Bat-Eared Foxes
  • 1:55 p.m. – Wallabies

The zoo says a Magician is a new addition this year and will be walking around the zoo engaging with visitors of all ages. There will also be fun holiday activities for visitors to enjoy throughout the day.

The Charles Paddock Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The events at the zoo are included with regular admission.
