Police looking for man who robbed San Luis Obispo drug store

San Luis Obispo police are investigating a robbery at the Rite Aid store on Johnson Ave.

It happened at about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say a caller reported that a man had entered the store, threatened a cashier, and demanded money from the register. The man was last seen getting into a car and leaving the area.

Investigators say he made off with some cash and a stereo speaker.

No one was injured.

The robber was described as approximately 20-years-old with a thin face. He was wearing a black beanie, gray hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves, blue jeans, gray and white shoes, black and white gloves, and he had a black mask.

Police say officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
