Hazmat team investigating leaking container at Templeton winery

UPDATE (5:10 p.m.) – CAL FIRE says the incident “has been mitigated” and all county fire resources have been released.


 

(11:05 a.m.) – CAL FIRE is on scene of a possible hazardous materials incident at Wild Horse Winery in Templeton.

Emergency responders were called to the scene Thursday morning for a report of a container leaking an unknown liquid.

CAL FIRE said approximately 12 winery employees were evacuated from the building and a hazmat team was assessing the situation.

No injuries were reported.

This is a developing story and will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
